The goal of this workshop is to show you where your breathing skills currently are. In workshops 2 & 3 will discuss and show you how we can all continue to improve this critical skill set!
Here’s what we’ve learned and what I want to share with you. The first step in improving your breathing is to know where you are right now. Like the old trainer’s saying, “If you’re not assessing, you’re guessing”. We want to assess our breathing so we have a baseline. Once you know how to assess your breathing, you’ll be able to measure your progress using skills we’ll teach in upcoming workshops.

In this second workshop we’ll be teaching you about the mechanics of breathing, and why it’s important to understand.
We want to take you a little deeper into how breathing works, and I’m going to show you how you can train your breathing. That’s right, we can train to be better breathers!
As we found out in the first workshop, most of us are not optimal breathers! So if you found your breathing pattern to not be optimal after the last workshop, we’re going to show you what you can do about it.

OK, so this video is all about habits – It’s about learning what breathing habits are necessary for you to build so that you are performing at your best. Clearly, if you are able to watch this video… breathing is already a habit for you – you do it automatically. But habits can be good… or bad.
This is important because breathing is foundational to good health and performance. You cannot be at your best with poor breathing habits, because that will negatively affect your:
Brain function
Health & fitness
Mood & mental state
Immune system
Sleep & recovery
So let’s talk about the Breathing Habits we want to form, which optimize how we breathe. There are five of them and we’ll discuss each one.
We’ll also cover what the next steps are to access our new Performance Breathing Series that will get you on the right track to building better breathing habits!
